OUR MEMBERS
With over 200 current and former members, our community is comprised of people navigating the entire spectrum of the recovery process. From men and women experiencing their first week of treatment, to individuals with over a decade of successful recovery, our members represent the entire universe of recovery.
Helix Recovery & Wellness has a strong relationship with numerous residential recovery programs in New Hampshire, as well as less intensive recovery resource centers, state and federal recovery programs, and wellness institutes. Clients and employees alike take advantage of the resources that we offer. And outside of organized programs, we have a large community of individuals who are more established in their recovery and find Helix Recovery & Wellness a valuable resource to continue their connection with the recovery community. This wide cross-section of recovery members creates a unique atmosphere of support and connection.
Helix is inclusive and welcoming to people of all backgrounds, including women, people of different races, LGBTQ+ people, disabled individuals and people in the criminal justice system. Anyone in recovery, regardless of duration or method, is welcome and highly encouraged to be part of Helix Recovery & Wellness. Experience in the gym or in recovery is absolutely unnecessary – we have the community to support your goals.
OUR VOLUNTEERS
Helvetica Light is an easy-to-read font, with tall and narrow letters, that works well on almost every site.
In addition to our recovery members, we have a large base of volunteers who understand the mission and are knowledgeable in fitness and training. A number of these volunteers are also part of the recovery community themselves, and others are allies along the path. No matter their personal story, however, their commitment and understanding is the same – they are there for you, for us, and for our community.
Our members are encouraged to engage with our volunteers and benefit from their expertise in the gym, whether that be asking questions about specific movements or exercises, or learning about pieces of equipment that they might not be familiar with. They are there for you.
